About the founder
The founder, Mr. Pankaj Deval is a qualified metallurgical engineer and has more than 30 years of diverse industry experience in various functions including R & D, Quality Assurance and Marketing. He has served as a Heat Treatment Product specialist with a leading heat treatment chemical manufacturer in India. He is regarded as an expert in quenchants and quenching technology. Being an active member of ASM International, India Chapter, he has served as its chairman during 2015 – 16. He has also been the convener of Heat Treatment Conference organised as a part of Heat Treat Show – 2014. Moreover, Mr. Deval is the founder of HeattreatMart.com, which is a B2B portal dedicated to the heat treatment industry.
How it all started
Being a heat treatment product application specialist, Mr. Deval had the opportunity to visit heat treatment shops all over India. During his interactions with heat treatment professionals, he realised that there is a huge requirement of heat treatment training. Therefore, Mr. Deval started organising live training courses for heat treaters. While promoting these training courses, he realised that a large number of heat treatment professionals wanted to attend the training courses but couldn’t, because of their busy schedules or their unavailability on the particular event dates.
The idea of launching an e-learning portal dedicated to provide heat treatment training was suggested by Mr. David Pye during his visit to India as a trainer in November, 2015. Mr. Deval and his development team worked on that idea and htcourses.com was born.
What we do
We simplify and enhance the process of learning by combining the best of both the worlds. This is achieved by integrating technology with the vast knowledge and experience of our trainers. We strive to make sure that the user has a platform to upgrade his knowledge and processes, interact directly with the trainer while implementing the same on the shop floor and get certified too.
